Day 1:  Guided Arrival Transfer 40 mins //

Welcome to El Salvador!! At your arrival one of our representatives will be waiting at the airport. After meet and greet, will assist you and transfer you towards your hotel in the city. Overnight at Suchitoto.

Day 2: Suchitlán Lake and Los Tercios Waterfalls  8 hrs  B//

Also known as  “Place of the Bird Flower” due  its name in Nahuatl, certainly Suchitoto  offers the most authentic essence of an ancient city with colonial architecture. Walk through its  cobbled streets, art galleries, handicraft shops and one of the main attractions of the city: the Church of Santa Lucía. Then, going to Puerto San Juan,  take a boat ride at Suchitlán Lake. After, take the walking to  Los Tercios, this is a curious waterfall with descendent water in rainy season, and for dry season  you can appreciate the wall formed by hexagonal stone of basaltic rock product of volcanic processes. Visit the famous Casa 1800 in Suchitoto, you will find a rustic and  pleasent place sourrounded by nature  for  have great views of the Lake and enjoy free time and maybe a coffee locally growth. Overnight in Suchitoto. 

Day 3: Chorros de La Calera and Salto de  Malacatiupán  B// 7 hrs

Our journey starts in Atiquizaya town, its name means “Place of Water Souces”, one of them is the “Salto de Malacatiupán” , this is  12 meters height fall but the particular fact is that the water comes from a hot spring formed  by a volcanic vein 1 kilometer away. Later we will visit  Juayúa a picturesque mountainous town surrounded by the  green of coffee plantations, visit one of the main spots in the area, Los Chorros de la calera waterfalls, its name is given because of the particular “jets” of water coming inside from the rocks in the mountains, the highest it is almost  25  meters  height, the waterfalls form on the base several pools with crystal water with no much depth but fresh enough for swim or simply appreciate it. Overnight in Concepción de Ataco.r

Day 4: Santa Ana (Ilamatepec) Volcano Hiking B// 8 hrs

Today enjoy an exciting adventure to the crater of Ilamatepec Volcano. With a height of 2384 meters above sea level, is the highest volcano and bulkier of the coastal range in the region. Ilamatepec demonstrated its strength in 2005, with an eruption that destroyed vegetation, villages and crops.  At the periphery of the crater, the winds are strong and you will be enveloped in clouds. From there you can see the emerald green lagoon inside the volcano. Also, you will have the opportunity to see a beautiful panorama of Lake Coatepeque, Volcano Izalco, Cerro Verde and the Pacific Ocean. The view is simply breathtaking. Overnight in Concepción de Ataco.

Day 5- Tamanique Waterfalls and Comsagua Mountains View5 hrs B//

Our journey starts today in a transfer to Tamanique, a small town in the middle of the Cordillera del Bálsamo, hereby a local guide, will take you through the hidden trails across the lush vegetation towards the Tamanique waterfalls, along the route you will pass rocks and the course of the river, watching some shorter falls before to arrive to the large one, with almost 40 meters  height,  forms a big pool of cold water with  a whimsical depth but perfect for enjoy the swimming. Finally , a time driving over the panoramic route Tamanique-Comasagua and enjoy the views of the mountains, the coast and the ocean, from here we can perceive how small but beautiful El Salvador is. Transfer to the beach for overnight.

Day 6:  Departure Transfer– 50 mins (Unguided)   B//
According your itinerary flight, we will pick you up at least 3 hours before your flight departs.
