Day 1 – Airport – San Salvador – 35 mins //
Welcome at the airport. At your arrival, one of our representative will assist you and transfer you to San Salvador City approximately 39 kms and 35 mins. Overnight at San Salvador.

Day 2 – City Tour – 9 hrs B//

Visit the main streets and monuments of San Salvador, the Historic City Center: The Metropolitan Cathedral, The National Palace, the National Theatre and the Rosario Church. Visit the Anthropology Museum. Then, visit Boquerón Volcano and enjoy a panoramic view to the crater with its particular “volcancito” or “little volcano” inside. When returning, you will be able to see the beautiful city of San Salvador in the late afternoon. At the end, delight yourself with a warm and tasting cup of coffee or a delicious typical early dinner at a local restaurant in the area, where you will also be able to taste the famous salvadorean dishes: “Las Pupusas”. Overnight at San Salvador.

Day 3 – Mayan Route – 9 hrs B//

Visit the Pompeii of America, the archaeological site “Joya de Cerén” (35 kms), declared World Heritage by UNESCO in 1993. Later, visit the Ruins of “San Andres”. Lunch at the city of Santa Ana and scenic tour through the city: Santa Ana´s Gothic Cathedral and the Santa Ana´s Theater. Visit the archaeological site “Casablanca” where you will be able to see the demonstration of dyeing with indigo as the Maya did. This small shop located inside the Casablanca Museum is an important part of research of dying and the effort to keep alive one of our great traditions. Finally, visit to Tazumal archeological site. Back to San Salvador.

Day 4 – Lake & Volcano Complex – 8 hrs B//

One of the most wanted tours in El Salvador that shows most characteristic natural attributes of the country. This incredible tour is a sightseeing of “Izalco Volcano” (79 kms approx) better known as the Lighthouse of the Pacific, the natural reserve of Cerro Verde, an inactive volcano located at an altitude of 2.035 meters above sea level and the Volcano Ilamatepec (or Santa Ana Volcano), the highest volcano and most voluminous of the coastal range. Later, visit the Volcanic Lake “Coatepeque” amongst the ten most beautiful lakes in the world. Optional: enjoy a refreshing boat ride. Back to San Salvador.

Day 5 – The Flower´s Route – 8 hrs B//

After breakfast, visit to the “Flower´s Route” (90 kms) to visit the colonial style towns with beautiful mountainous vegetation: Juayúa, Nahuizalco, Apaneca, Ataco and Ahuachapán. Guided City tour with local communities. Observe the elaboration of local looms, handicrafts and shops at the local traditional stores. The Flowers Route is one of the most popular tourist paths and it is named for its abundance of flowers on the scenic road. It is the area with coffee plantations and from where the highest quality coffee is exported all over the world. Back to San Salvador. Free evening to enjoy the surroundings.

Day 6 – Old City Suchitoto Tour – 8 hrs B//

After breakfast, departure to “La Bermuda” (60 kms), an archaeological site representing first location of the Salvadoran capital of San Salvador. San Salvador was established here in 1528, while the Conquest was still in progress. This site is one of the best-preserved Conquest-period Spanish sites in the hemisphere. Later, visit “Suchitoto”, in Nahuatl “Place of Bird and Flower”. It seems that this colonial style city fell asleep at the time with its mud-brick´ structure houses and international cuisine. The hotels are noted for their charm and beauty, proof of this is “Los Almendros de San Lorenzo and La Posada de Suchitlán.” Boat ride along the Suchitlán Lake included. Back to San Salvador.

Day 7 – Beach Transfer – 45 mins B//

After breakfast and check out, non-guided transfer to beach hotel at Costa del Sol or the Sunzal Beach. Enjoy a refreshing swim in the beautiful Salvadorean beaches, take a massage at the edge of the sea or taste a delicious salvadorean cocktail while enjoying the wind of the Pacific Coast.

Day 8 – Beach Day B//
Free day to relax and enjoy of the salvadorean beaches.

Day 9 – Transfer Out – 45 mins B//
Transfer to Airport of El Salvador. Have a nice Trip!
